Plan has been made to go to HK the first time to meet with fans there in end June. The 9 members, aged from 19 to 24, include: the leader Jun Young, funny guy Kwang Hee, Australian charisma Kevin, dancing machine Min Woo, fashionista Si Wan, our prince Hyung Sik, tough guy rapper Tae Heon, scary maknae Dong Jun and arrogant rapper Hee Cheol.
Although it is only a year after their first debut in 2010, their sweet and friendly image let them gain lots of support from fans in Asia!
They started their ZE:A Asia Tour 2011 in Yokohama, Japan on 4th May with great success, and attracted more that 8000 fans to the show.
Plans have been made to go to other Asian countries including Hong Kong, Taiwan and Thailand. What makes us so excited is to know that ZE:A will come to Hong Kong at the end of June to do their Live Tour.
It would be the first visit of ZE:A to Hong Kong!
Unlike the other boy bands, each ZE:A's member has his unique charm and attraction to fans.
They are 100 percent devoted to music and stage performance. The relation amongst members is so harmonious, and they always cheer up and encourage each other. That is also why the 9-member boy band can get along so well with good mutual understanding.
Before their debut, ZE:A has already made their goal very clear - "To conquer ASIA". The 9 members practise and work very hard everyday in order to achieve their goal one day!
They performed in various seniors’ MV and also acted as dancers on the live performances so to gain as much stage performance experiences as possible.
These valuable experiences enable them to build up a strong self-confidence and also gain wide popularity before their official debut.
In less than a year's time, ZE:A is getting increasingly popular with solid fan base built up! During the period, they have released few mini album and digital single digital “Nativity”, “Leap for Detonation” and “Level Up”.
Their first official album ‘Lovability’ was released in March this year. Besides, they also released Japanese version of “Children of Empire” and “Love Letter” and the Taiwan version of “Leap for Detonation”, “Best Selection”, “My Only Wish” and “Lovability” and so on.
They received good responses for these albums, making ZE:A become a popular Kpop boy band not only in Korea, but also Japan and Taiwan.
ZE:A Has an Extraordinary Debut Experience
Different from other boy bands, ZE:A introduced themselves to the fans in a completely direct and friendly way, they did not keep themselves in a veil of mystery before their debut.
In 2009, ZE:A performed in a documentary-styled show “Star Empire” and gained attention of fans to know more about how they get prepared for the debut.
In October of the same year, they started their wingcar performances in more than 50 major cities in Korea to further expand their popularity and gain performance experiences.
Their wingcar performances were later featured in their own documentary show titled “Empire Kids Returns”. This kind of wonderful pre-debut experiences was surely the first in Kpop history.
ZE:A worked very hard and practised very hard as the 9 members share the same goal and dream!
They introduced their mini album ‘Nativity’ in January 2010. Immediately they gained attention and reached very high rankings on both the Album Chart and Artist Chart on Daum on their debut day.
Thanks to the training and experiences gained through the 50 wingcar performances, ZE:A doesn't give viewers and fans a completely "New to stage" impression!
They also participated in various music and entertainment programmes and become more and more popular amongst viewers and fans.
What's more, ZE:A always keep a closer and interactive relation with fans, their friendly attitude helps them gain lots of love and affection from fans.
“The First” Records Maker
Since their debut, ZE:A has created many special “The First” records that become "Talk of the Town" in the industry.
ZE:A is the "first" one to set up their official fan site in Korea and Japan simulatenously since debut! Nearly 10,000 members joined in during a short period of time.
ZE:A is the "first" one to release their digital single ‘Leap For Detonation’ two months after their first mini album and also kicked off stage performance in Japan and held a fanmeeting there!
ZE:A is the "first" Korean artist who could sell out thousand tickets especially when they were still a new group who made the debut for such a short period of time.
They are also the "first" Korean artist who could enter the Taiwan market in less than a hundred days upon their first debut.
Moreover, they are also the "first" new Korean artist who could establish an “Interactive Chinese Official Fan Site” in Taiwan.
These “First” records fully demonstrate the exceptional talent of ZE:A, making them gain increasing popularity and support from fans in Asia!
High Praise in Overseas Countries Gaining Increasing Popularity
In addition to their solid fan base built in Korea, ZE:A’s goal is to conquer other Asian countries, particularly Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong!
In September 2010, the first day ZE:A released their first album in Japan, 5,740 copies of albums were sold and achieved the daily chart ranking #3 in the Japan Oricon Chart.
And in December, the first day sales of digital single “Love Letter” reaches 4,499 copies and occupied the Oricon daily chart ranking #2 and weekly chart ranking #9.
The good results had got lots of attention and interests from many people!
Besides, tickets of “ZE:A Premium Live in Japan” concert sold out in just 20 minutes and attracted more than 4000 fans! The performance of ZE:A on stage was just too "hot", making more than 10 fans fainted and caused temporary suspension of the show.
Last year, ZE:A went to Taiwan as Travel Ambassador to attend an event in Kaosiong as the final performer.
Their performance made all fans so excited and went crazy!
In less than one month's time, leader Young Jun and Dong Jun then visited Taiwan again, places where they went got packed and they were surrounded by enthusiastic fans wherever they go.
ZE:A launched their Taiwan version of “Lovability” in March this year, ranking No.2 in GMusic chart in one week’s time.
The popularity of ZE:A further raised with favourable market feedback.
At the beginning of this year, ZE:A has made their first movie debut! "Ronin Pop" is a cooperation of Japan and Korea.
In addition, the members also participated in many entertainment programmes, making all attempts to further develop themselves and sharpen their techniques so as to enter the overseas market one day!
Live Tour in Hong Kong
In February, ZE:A held their first fan meeting in Korea called “Happy ZE:A's Day 2011”.
And in March, they came back with their first official album “Lovability” with a brand-new image and style.
They plan to have more activities in other Asian countries so as to get closer to their fans there.
At the end of June, ZE:A will come to Hong Kong to hold the “ZE:A Asia Tour 2011 in Hong Kong”.
This is the first time for them to come to Hong Kong and meet their fans in this metropolitan city!
Fans will have the chance to meet the 9 members and more importantly to see their great dancing and singing performance in Hong Kong!
