Check out the full transcription of the conference down below.
<How did you find the opportunity to worth with JQT?>
Ray & Renny: We first learned about JQT through Melvin Brown, and after hearing good things about them, we were given this project to work on.
Melvin Brown: I first met with JQT during a business trip to Korea. I saw their videos and wanted to personally meet with them, and after getting in contact, I got to meet them today.
<What is the most important element a Korean girl group must have to advance into America?>
Melvin Brown: Korean girl groups have a style that we have not yet seen. In particular, JQT have good chemistry between each other as a group.
<What is the chance of success for JQT in America?>
Melvin Brown: We will put in 150% of our effort for them to succeed in America. We believe that they have a very high chance of success with the know-hows we possess. I have seen a lot of Korean girl groups, but in my opinion, JQT moved me the most.
<Are you confined to create them into stars as successful as Lady GaGa?>
Melvin Brown: My job is to create superstars. I don’t have any thoughts on quitting now.
<When will JQT’s American album be released?>
Melvin Brown: We think it will be around November of this year. We plan to release their first full album at around January-February.
<What kind of music will JQT be singing in America?>
Ray & Renny: We’re capable of creating new styles. JQT will no doubt be given a new style.
<As a producer, what are the strengths of JQT?>
Ray & Renny: We have seen a lot of girl groups, but there are a lot of cases where they can sing but can’t dance, and vice versa. JQT are strong in both aspects.
<But out of the Korean musicians who have advanced into America, none of them have fully succeeded.>
Melvin Brown: That’s because they used the wrong methods. The real method is a secret, but we will show you the results nevertheless. We have had good results with it so far.
<What kind of training will you give them?
Melvin Brown: We will prepare them for a variety of things. They’ll be receiving physical training in America, and will so feature with and receive training from featuring artists.
