In response to the attention, PD Kim Ho Sang of “Music Bank” shared a photo of Gongchan and Hyun Woo side by side, confirming their striking resemblance. He tweeted, “The twin of MC Hyun Woo, B1A4’s Gongchan! Even the staff members were surprised.”
Netizens commented, “I can’t even tell who’s who”, “A doppelganger that even producers have acknowledged!”, and “Sometimes I feel like Gongchan is MCing on ‘Music Bank.’”
Representatives of B1A4’s agency stated, “We also thought that he looked similar to Hyun Woo-ssi, so we’re surprised as well with this picture. We would like to thank the fans for taking such an interest.”
